It all started in 2008 when Anatolia, the birthplace of viticulture, met the French expertise.

Its favourably-exposed hills combined with the quality of its soils on deep limestone with the gravel layer on the surface, on the south coast, are the main characteristics of the vineyard and contribute to give Château La Croix Lartigue all the arguments to be one of the shining stars of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.

This 10ha-estate in the appellation Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux whose history can be traced back to 1663 has always been in the hands of local dignitaries.

It was only logical for Maison Kavaklidere, having done two vintages as owner of neighboring Château La Croix Lartigue and well aware of the potential of the Claud Bellevue terroir, to purchase it in May 2018 in order to create a coherent entity within the appellation.

15 km from Saint-Emilion, Château Claud Bellevue is located in the heart of the hilly appellation of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, in the small village of Belvès-de-Castillon. Surrounded by 10 ha of vines in one piece, the property was renovated in 2019.
